The ramblings of JenIt really is all about me 30 June The BABESSo, the baby was FINALLY born, Tuesday June 26th.. YAY!!!! She was 8 lbs 10ozs and she is amazing!!!! Her name is Lilly Anne... she is gorgeous... I could gush all day!
Elizabeth loves being a big sister and tries so hard to help me with everything, makes it harder sometimes but I love it!
Except the exhaustion I am doing really well, up and about and not having too much trouble...
I am just waiting to go to bed now, but Ian is supposed to be on his way... well actually he is supposed to be here... he said between 7-8, and it is now 9:10... such a guy!! LOL
We were a little worried Ian wouldnt make his grad cuz it was Thursday... she cut it close... lol
Anywoo, just wanted to share the news while I had a minute, happy blogging everyone! 20 June ARGSo, yesterday was the due date, and no baby yet... wednesday is my inducing date... actually it is the day to talk about being induced... I dont want to wait another week... so I have decided this child will be born on Saturday... I am a stubborn ass and I will pull it out myself if I have to... LOL...
3 guys died in Afganastan today... makes me sad, they do the same job as Danny boy, but it wasnt him (THANK GAWD)... but my heart does go out to the families of those soldiers...
On a much happier note, they did find a donor for Sarah, she goes to the IWK on July 4th to start her Kemo, and from there she goes to Toronto on the 13th for her transplant... so there is a light at the end of her tunnel... I cant wait for her to be healthy and playing again...
in disgusting news, I got a netie pot yesterday and used it for the first time today, I can actually breath... I am telling you these things are a miracle!!!!!!!!! I love it so much...
Went to the park today with Amber, somehow got this weird sunburn on the side of my knee that hurts like a mo fo...

5 June updatesWell, we are back in SJ now... thank gawd!! I am doing my placement at probation... have now entered into week 3, that is going well.. enjoying it for sure... elizabeth is loving being home again... baby is due in 2 weeks.. oh and today i found out dans woman cant take her like she was supposed to... lol... so that is a fun scramble... not her fault her shift got changed at work and she no longer has a sitter... we still dont have a girls name picked out... cant agree on any... lol... SURPRISE! ummmmm that is really about all that is going on here, really not exciting at all... just getting ready for baby and getting settled back in... working all day doesnt leave me much time... get home, get supper get her ready for bed and unpack a bit, that is my days, then on the weekends we run around and try to find things to do to keep her busy and have quality time with her. Anyway, just wanted to give a quick update, hope all is well!
28 April 3 weeks :DOkay so I have 3 weeks left in the chi... 3 weeks too many in my opinion... lol... pretty excited tho... cant wait to get my cute butt home...
Just doing competencies now... my class is gone and while I never thought I would say this... I miss them...lol..I am dealing with the first years now I am going to hit them... some say it is because I am pregnant that I cant handle them but in reality it is because they are morons! I am not going to get too far into details with that.. so we will leave it there...
I have been packing and cleaning... and I am not ambitious... it is hard to be ambitous when it takes all I have in ya to stand up... I am a fatty... lol... I will try to remember to get someone to take a pic of me to post for those of you who havent seen me lately... the belly is HUGE... I think I have gained about 30 lbs... but hey! less than 2 months to go... I am seriously hoping it improves tho because I am uncomfortable ALL the time...
I tried again today to find decent maternity clothes because I need dress clothes for my placement... I am not amish... and I am not 80... this sucks, I think if I lived somewhere bigger they might have better clothes but NB just doesnt... I only want 3 or 4 outfits because I am only going to need them for 4 weeks... and since it is m-f it works out to 20 days so I dont want to spend too much money on it, yeah that is right I said I dont want to spend money... lol... Other than that not a whole lot new here...
Dan is back in Afganstan, he gets home in August... Elizabeth is missing him like crazy...
Ian has abandoned me for Saint John... lol.. he is doing his placement at the Jail there, and starts working there casual on May 7th (I think it is the 7th) so that will be good, atleast he'll be getting some cash... hopefully I will be able to find a job soon after the baby is born, that would be ideal for me... I would hate to have to go on welfare or anything of the sort, just not my style... anywoo, I better get back to the packing...
Happy Blogging! 13 April 36 days left in the chiWell, we went home for a week for Easter and it was AWESOME! Cant wait to be done here forever!!!!!!!!! (36 days left incase you didnt get that from my title). We went home last Thursday and relaxed and did some shopping... it was great! Elizabeth went to her dad's on Sunday to spend a little more time with him before he goes back over seas... she stayed there til Tuesday so Sunday nite I actually got some sleep then Monday I spent time with some friends. Tuesday I got the tires changed on the car which now it is storming... did mother nature miss the memo that it is mid April?????? anywoo, I did a bit of shopping on Tuesday too, then she got home around lunchtime so we went to KFC/TacoBell for lunch and spent the afternoon at the park (I am posting pics)... Then Wednesday my bestest bud, Rob, was in town for one day only so we spent the whole day with him, at the park and at his mommy's house and came back EARLY yesterday... met up with Rob in Salisbury for breakfast (he was heading to Hali and we were coming back up here :'(.. anywoo, so that was our easter break... Hope everyone else's was fun :D 2 April blahOk.. SOOO I am officially addicted to facebook.. lol... cant seem to shut it off... Funny the people who find you there, some good, some not so great... lol... other than that it has been a pretty hectic weekend... I did home work and housework all day Friday and then went to dinner and to see wild hogs Friday nite with Annie... I admit it, it wasnt as bad as I thought, pretty good even. Saturday I did more homework and housework and just kinda hung out at home, I was going to go shopping but the stores were INSANE, not sure why... Saturday evening I had a bake-a-thon with Ang... lol... it was disgusting the amount of food (and mess) we made, and I attempted to go to bed early, but as per usual could not sleep. Then yesterday I got up and went to brunch at Ang's house. We had a really good time and a lot of food! But I was left wondering, since when do 6 gurls get together and not bitch about their boyfriends? We sat there laughing and tho all of us are in relationships, none of us mentioned them... anywoo, so after that I went to get a few groceries and but the auxilery cord to plug my mp3 player into my car stereo because I am pretty sure I am the only one still enjoying Chris Daughtry at this point... lol.. then I went to get Ian because he is staying with me until he leaves (April 18thish) and we ran to walmart so he could get a few things and I (of course) bought some cute new sandels. Then we came back, tried to find room for his stuff and then went for a walk... good times... lmao.... then we watched tv and went to bed, where I slept a little better than Saturday nite but still not great. Starting to feel like I am going to fall over. Oh yeah, and at some point in there I talked to my mother and Sarah is in the hospital again. She had a mild fever and we are told this is to be expected and absolutely nothing to worry about.

I could find my phone, so I decided to try to find it under the pile of toys that was dumped where my phone belongs, since the shelf was in the kitchen instead of in hte livingroom... so as I am moving this giant pile of toys I am finding huge chunks of stucco... and sure enough my phone... so I picked up what I could (and filled half a kitchen garbage bag) then I vacuumed (sucked up 2 vacuums filled)then I decided to move through the rest of the house... for some reason my bedroom was also filled with dust... (I closed the door because there was no reason for htem to be in there)... then in complete fear I went into the bathroom, and sure enough my tub was filled with everything that came out of the ceiling in there, and they somehow had dust in my medicine cabinet... SO I spent about 5 hours cleaning up the mess that wasnt going to be left... yeah it was great! all my dishes even had stuff on them some have been washed 3 times and have to be done again... I still have a little more dusting to do...
so today I dont have class and who knew! they actually told us yesterday so I didnt get up and get ready and drive to school to find out I dont have class... So I am watching Regis and Kelly and getting ready to go run some erronds... I have to go to Elizabeth's bank and get an oilchange in the car... and then HOPEFULLY finish cleaning the apt...
We got to talk to Dan on webcam this morning... he is good, lost some weight but looks healthy... his flight for his home vaca is postponed 2 days... poor guy! I am really excited to see him tho... as is Elizabeth, she is so excited whenever anyone says his name... draws him a picture every day... sooooo cute...

It didnt start out toooooooo bad...
We got up Friday morning and got ready to head out
I drove Ian to Fredericton and we ate at the Lunar Rogue (my FAVE restaurant)...
then I dropped him off at his brothers and headed to the STU bookstore
where I actually managed to find a hoodie that I like
Then I drove back to SJ to my mommy's house
When I got there no one was home
so I actually had some time to get a few things done
and play with my pooches...
then Mom got home and had Alyssa with her (Alyssa = Sarah's big sis)
and I couldnt get a moments peice...
I kid you not... my friends called and I went to my room for privacy,
she followed me, now, not to speak poorly of my sis but...
this child is going to be 11 at the end of this month,
she should know better than follow people around like that...
so Saturday Mom, Lyss and I spent the day together,
didnt do much...
Sunday I met Kel for lunch and I little shopping before going to get Elizabeth
I met up with Deanna on the west side rather than trying to discribe the 50 turns she would have to take to get to my house...
Sunday nite Elizabeth started sneezing and coughing,
not much, just a little...
Monday morning we both woke up with the cold/flu from hell
took Elizabeth to the hospital on Friday,
when she still wasnt getting any better and go figure she has pnemonia
so here we are over a week later,
she is still cranky as anything and tired
and I still cant breath...
so then we came back yesterday only to discover that
while we were away my ceiling is leaking again....
a bunch of my stuff got ruined again...

Elizabeth and I went to F'ton on Saturday for the nite
we hung out with a friend
and on Sunday we did some shopping
and bumped into pretty much everyone I know
it was really weird... I kid you not when I say I bumped into 15 people in 2.5 hours
then she went with Deanna for a week,
I am of course missing her like crazy...
I was going to stay in Fton another nite
but I was supposed to have a meeting with our mentor for a project
then when I got back the other girl cancelled...
lol... go figure...
all worked out tho,
I got a ton of much needed cleaning done yesterday
and a lot of homework that I had to catch up on
then Ian and I were going to go to the movies last nite
I am DYING to see Hanibal Rising...
but there is not one decent movie playing in this craphole town
I think Hannibal was here for 2 weeks,
but Norbit and the Astronaut Farmer will be here for 2 months...
so we didnt go to the movies, we just hung out here instead...
the excitment of it all...lol

Then this morning I went to school only to find out that... go figure...
my first class was cancelled!

We were having a perfectly pleasant day except the fact that Dairy Queen screwed up her cake
then my mom called a supper time and told me the doctor wanted to see me right away
(about the ultrasound)
when a doctor wants you to come on Saturday it is rarely good news
so we were no longer in the mood to celebrate...
and our mood only went down when we heard the news on Sarah (my sick neice)
she has A Plastic Amemia (I dont know how to spell it)
She may need a bone marrow transplant but we are still unsure as to how serious
I got to see her this weekend which was nice...
March break is in 2 weeks and I am going to keep her older sister for a couple days then
When we got home my mom and my oldest neice had a little surprise party for Elizabeth,
it was really cute and she had a really good time
So, we were in SJ this weekend to see the doctor...
had to get another ultrasound and great news!!!!
Baby and I are both healthy!!!!!!!!!!!
Best news I have had in a VERY long time...
So... we are back in 'chi...
I had a really hard time leaving SJ this morning and I am really tired
it can be hard to try to squeeze everything into a weekend
Other than that, we have heard from Dan a few times and he is doing well'
He cant give me any details about what is going on
and I think it is better htat he cant...
I would probably only worry more if he did...
Deanna (his g/f) has been great since he left...
very helpful... dont think she realizes that I appreciate it..
Elizabeth and I celebrated her birthday a little tonite...
watched a movie and ate icecream cake then colored...LOL

13 February life gets in the wayWell, it has been about -1000000000 degrees everyday and nothing is going right lately... but what can ya do? such is life...
my car was broken and after having it towed to the dealership 3 times they decided to take a closer look and kept it for 4 days last... turns out I had a bad sensor which was stopping it from telling the fuel line I was trying to start it when it was cold... so I got my car back and couldnt have been happier... so after I dropped the car off Monday I came home and my doctor called needing to see me... turns out I have to go for another ultrasound... so... now my car is in the shop, I am stressed about this second ultrasound and Dan had left for Afganastan that morning after 2 days of plane trouble... yeah, great day! Luckily the dealership gave me a loaner car... a malibu... let me say... I will NEVER own one of those... Horrible experience! After 4 days of that I got my car back on friday and had to go to find clothes to wear to look "professional" for school... and well, ummmmmm it is hard enough to try to find clothes that dont look like they belong to an eightie year old when you are pregnant but if you have been to the Miramichi you can imagine how much harder it is here... isnt exactly a metropolis here... oh yeah and back to the doctors appointment, we also found out that my back never healed from a fall I had January 6th so it is still inflammed and I am stuck on restricted activity until further notice, yeah that makes me happy... I am not at all cranky about that! So by Saturday I really needed some cheering up so we decided to go to Moncton to shop... Usually I spend a ton of money there but this time I really didnt find anything.. Bought a pair of AWESOME boots and a couple things for Elizabeth but we killed the day... and the boots made me happy... so we came back here and wasted Sunday... somehow and yesterday was back to school... came home from school and the sitter said Elizabeth had spiked a fever and was throwing up... so I bundled her all up and we drove to the hospital, when we got htere we were told that there was a 5 hour wait time and they sent us home... so I then called telecare (who are usually useless except they call the hospital in advance and get you in a little faster) the nurse of course told me to go to the hospital so I told her we were sent away from the hospital (yup, great services up here) so the telecare nurse told me to trying giving her infants tylonol and see if that helps if not call them back and they will put a rush in the hospital for me... so I bundled her up again and took her to the superstore for infants tylonol... When we got there the pharmasist told me to buy tempra instead of tylonol because it works better for fevers... so far so good today.... she seems to be doing a lot better and has her appetite back...
So now I just got news that my neice is sick, there is something wrong with her blood and they dont know waht it is so she is being rushed to the IWK, with all that is going on I really dont think we will be having a happy second bday for Elizabeth even tho I am going to try to do everything that I can to make sure she does feel special on her day. Anywoo, we have to go get some groceries so I can feed my little girl... and get some cleaning done... hope everyone else is having better luck than me..
